OK, as I've been rebuilding the 4 Yahoo Groups over to GroupsIO, I just found an amazing discovery. This has been out there ALL THIS TIME. And per GoDaddy, it's been RENEWED too.

There were group links that obviously went to suppliers today of Hoye, Fredricks, Sheaffers, and yet others who are long gone. Well, this link here to AllPartsStore: Tractor Parts, Combine Parts, Turf & Lawn Care, and Industrial Products is in the mix. So, I went ahead to verify IF the site was still active and has Yanmar related parts. Yep, it does and for the GRAY MARKET machines too. I then looked at my model for parts. Yep, they offer a few. AllPartsStore: Search results for TRACTOR&SelcModel=YM2610&SelcSectn=&SelcSubsc=

So, who is AllPartsStore: Tractor Parts, Combine Parts, Turf & Lawn Care, and Industrial Products ??? Checked their About Us page that was basically no info of location or even a phone number. BUT, per WHOIS and GoDaddy the owner of the site and it's IP host is none other than JOHN DEERE. :D

I have a addon to FireFox that shows at a click, the whois servers where an unknown website comes from on the page you are viewing. When I did the peek, the deere.com is the primary host.

Before I do any purchases on-line from places that are in the unknown realm, I do a background look.

AllPartsStore - the links you highlighted above - gives me very strange results. Clicking your link, redirects to my nearest Yanmar (new models) dealer!

Geyserville Tractor Supply

But looking around in that site lists no parts for Yanmar, either new or old models.

Geyservilletractor is real, it's a small dealer 45 minutes up US-101 from me. I haven't been there but it was recommended to me when I asked my local hydraulics shop who could rebuild the YM186D leaking power steering cylinder. Geyservilletractor told me they could do this, then later I located a good used cylinder so I haven't gone up there. I was told the owner worked for the regional Deere dealer long ago when that dealer also sold US-version Yanmars. I think they are a franchised dealer for the new Yanmars.

But its strange that Geyservilletractor's 'parts' link goes to AllPartsStore - but Yanmar isn't listed among the 100+ brands of tractors that AllPartsStore claims to support. Very strange!

What do others see when they click on those links?

Going to the main page of AllPartsStore: Tractor Parts, Combine Parts, Turf & Lawn Care, and Industrial Products Then TRACTOR > COMPACT TRACTOR BRANDS > YANMAR

This gives all of the Yanmar YM, FX, F, L, & TC, models. Nothing shown for any of the newer Yanmar machines.

IF you are getting a local dealer, chances are, you had already visited this place in the past and had associated this dealer to the site. Out of curiosity, I clicked on the clutch plate for my model, entered a zip-code, up popped 5 local dealers with that JD/Yanmar part number. I then picked one and the price showed up. THEN, at the top of the page, that dealers' logo and address appeared in the upper left corner of the top banner.

Yes, it does have a bunch of other brands shown. Just got to pick the COMPACT TRACTOR BRANDS.

Wonder if this is JD's aftermarket parts & service fitting other know machines in the industry too. hmmmm Still find it very odd the site is mum quiet on who runs it all.

I clicked on the link and was redirected here: AllPartsStore: Tractor Parts, Combine Parts, Turf & Lawn Care, and Industrial Products They do appear to sell tractor parts but I couldn't find a hydraulic pump for my Mitsubishi. It's a good thing I have a spare.

Got this far down the list for Mitsubishi.

AllPartsStore Search results for Mitsubishi COMPACT TRACTOR

DF1300 model types are the only D Series shown.

This site shows having your model D2350 listed ...
Quality new hydraulic pumps for your compact tractor!

Other places per the Mitsubishi GroupsIO site

Valley Power

West Kentucky Tractor Parts

Roadworthy, does your link go to GeyservilleTractor? That's where it took me.

Bmaverick you are right, Yanmar isn't in 'Tractors', it's in 'Compact Tractors'.
Not much there for YM2000. Engine category has only generic sheets of gasket material. Steering ... only spinner knobs. Electrical? Only a generic battery isolator connector. YM186D, a US Yanmar? Same generic stuff only.

That's a very strange arrangement that Deere has set up. it looks like Deere Legal Department engaged that consultant to help make all Yanmar parts searches go to their 'AllParts' site.

It's just a weird thing to know this was one of the links on the Yahoo Groups, Yanmar Tractor Owners site for at least 2 decades. There is other oddities, but being from the late 1998 era, the internet can not verify things. Even the WayBackMachine can only go so far too. In reality, the Yanmar folks have lost so much information in the past 10 years. Not just by users in the forums, but globally for these older machines. Like something has come in and wiped websites clean or the sites closed. It looks as if the Wallace Zen-Noh era triggered something to the point of no return. Because anything prior on the archives I can find, anything there after, it's GONE.

What you are seeing is the A&I retail parts portal. When you first try to get a price you are asked for your zip code and then prompted to select one of their local resellers. The site is then re-branded with that company's logo and they will get credit for any future purchase you might make. A&I is a large (huge) aftermarket ag parts wholesaler that was apparently acquired by Deere in 2010 (link below). I think they are mostly geared towards the bigger ag tractors and older American tractors (Ford, Deere, Massey) buy they do have an odd selection of various import tractor parts also.

Nice Aaron. You are a good detective. I hadn't found anything why this was related to JD in anyway. Thanks!

I did do a search then of all the products they offer for Yanmar. And only then did it come back with the A&I.

A&I Aftermarket Parts > COMPACT TRACTOR > Yanmar
262 products in list

AllPartsStore: Search results for

The last item is the Yanmar YM shop manuals.

Other than that, they have an odd product offering that doesn't look to competing to Hoye.

Aaron, BTW, those stay chains are still holding on, even with the added modification to make sure. Happy Hoye helped out when all others were SOLD OUT and the tariff problems were unfolding this past summer. I also did a write up and review following the links.
