I am getting serious about building a copy of either the Shaver Super Slide or Mini-Positioner (see attached picture). My question: does anyone on-list have experience with one or have you seen one close enough to give me an idea on dimensions? Related, if you have not, if you have steel working/welding experience, you may be able to look at the pictures enclosed closely enough to validate what I think are the various sizes of the components.
Basically, I am going to use this with an HD-10 and I am going to incorporate a few modifications that will be useful to me and have even considered making a "mini-post-driver trailer" that would accomplish the sliding function and provide additional utility/portability beyond that need . . .
