I will be selling my B2710 and want to set a fair asking price. I added an LA402 front end loader a year ago. It would come with a Woods 148 bushhog, a dump box and turf tires. I purchased it new in 2000 and it has 95 hours and is mostly used for hauling donkey dung and the occasional bush hogging. A number of people have expressed interest in it but I'm not sure about tractor depreciation so would welcome advice on setting a fair price for the entire package. It's in excellent condition and has been maintained. Thanks

Welcome to TBN. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Coming up with a price for a complete used tractor is hard. There are only a few 27-2910's with a loaders for sale. Asking price seems to be from $12000 to $15500. The area of the country will determine how much the tractor will bring. The other attachments should add more to the value.
Here is a site that allows you to come up with a new price that may help. Click Here
Why not try listing it in the TBN Classifieds. I was able to sell my B7100 in 2000 to someone that lived about 80 miles from me.

I would try calling some local Kubota dealers and ask them what a good price would be. They should be able to give you the market value on the tractor with loader. You would have to add some for the bush hog and other equipment.
Why are you selling it?

When I was looking at some used BX models, I figured from the used price vs. new, that the dealers were deducting $65.00 per hour for the used. Based on that, you would have to deduct $6175 from what it cost you new...... then add back what you think would be a fair middle area for both you and the buyer and you should have a reasonable figure. On the equipment, I would say, deduct 20% - 25% and you should be in the ball park.... Also, remember that you can not figure the cost of finance or sales tax in your calculations. Remember that you can always bring your price down, but it it next to impossible to raise it after you quote it...... Junkman

Thanks very much Ron, for your useful reply. If I don't sell my B2710 locally I'll definitely put it in the TBN classifieds. There seems to be a lot of local interest for it, so I shouldn't have too much trouble. Thanks again.

Thanks Donny. I already had a call into our sleepy Kubota dealer and I'm awaiting their reply. I'm selling because we're moving from Virginia to New Mexico and I think I'll need something different. Certainly won't need the bushhog in the desert! Linda
