I can get a nice package of a D1500, dual axle wheel trailer, rotary cutter and some more stuff for $5000.

What do you think? Good enough to cut 6 acres of pasture that is fairly level?

Will it last?

I've actually HEARD of Mitsubishi as opposed to those Chinese brands.

D-1500; 18 hp, 2WD, diesel engine, 2 cylinder, water cooled, 3 speed PTO. Sounds like a sweet little tractor to me but it seems a little small for 6 acres. Maybe some folks with that kind of acreage can advise.

My S-373 has 15-17 hp pulling a 4' hawg or finishing mower. My 2.5 acres seem perfect for that setup.

I guess if you're not in a real big hurry, it should be fine. The price sounds good to me.

I run a MT180D, 4WD 18hp and have had it for about 8 yrs being the seond owner.

Very rugged machine.
While my model is NOT a 'grey' unit I would believe that a company such as Mitsubishi would not pull the plugs for any of their products.

There is a parts network out there with a couple of the guys monitoring this forum, so for any parts or support you basically just need to post here.

Mine is a real workhorse. In effect with a FEL and box blade I guess that I use it more as a skid steer than anything else.

Good luck.
I mounted a plow and have a 6' blower for the snow.
