I'd really like to rebuild the gearbox on a bush hog that belonged to my grandfather. It was seized up as of a couple weeks ago so I pulled the gearbox off and started evaluating. It is fairly rough, I wouldn't consider rebuilding if it weren't for the sentimental aspect. The gears are fairly pitted and the shaft where the oil seal rides is a disaster. I'm not worried about the oil seal - I plan to replace it but also plan to use epoxy to smooth out the shaft and I will be running thick grease in the gearbox most likely instead of regular gear oil. I plan to replace all the bearings (around $50) and seals (??) and see how long the original gears last.
The purpose of the thread is to show my progress and get input/feedback. Also, I cannot for the life of me find the correct oil seals. There are only two that I need but I can't find a diagram anywhere and I can't seem to find an oil seal with the correct dimensions on the timken seal lookup tool. Anyone that can point me to a valid parts diagram (with the correct gear box) would be an absolute hero. Anyway, this is what I'm working with -
Here is the gearbox I'm working with, the parts diagram I'm finding don't have the plate on the rear.

This is when I first popped the gearbox apart -

Gears cleaned up kinda -

Shaft that needs TLC before oil seal even has a chance -

Another question - Does anyone have any idea how to get this yoke off this shaft? If there are set screws that would use an allen key, they are completely rounded off or corroded away to the point where they are just round inside.

The bearings on the drive shaft (may help someone find the correct oil seals) are:
Timken 25880, 25821 and L44610, L44643
