I think the best example of successfully selling tractors on eBay might just be Corriher's. It looks to me like they have it down to a science so it can be done.

I will soon start seslling on e-bay, I've been buying for 5+ years there. just returned yesterday with a t-boned t-bird for parts. (300.00 for a 93 with New engine & trans rebuild!) It is for my womans 93 which has 100K on now and has been driven by her folks and wrecked about 5 different times... almost lost it on a sevier bump in the road though! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif starget tail wagging and I think it broke the steering wheel lock too... !? ended up hearing the door bell dinging and the key had been turned on, but I THOUGHT I had left the key out of the ignition and setting on the pass seat. I think someone was messing around with it while we were in the truck stop using the rest room and eating... nothing I could see was taken but then I noticed the steering wheel horn cover bent up and a missing air bag.? when bought they said it didn't have one but it should have as it is 93 and I think driverside was mandatory in 93.?

I sold my old deere 455 on Ebay. It was painless but make sure you spell out EVERY detail. And be prepared for some really dumb questions. If people read the entire auction there would be 90% less questions.
Also sometimes reserves are good and sometimes they cost you more in the end. Weight out what you want and see if the reserve is the way to go and just start at what you want for it.
PS. I would NOT do PayPal either unless you want 2% to go bye bye. ...and you can't say add 2% for PayPal since it is illegal. It is called circumventing funds and is bad.
