selling standing alfalfa

I bought 80 acres for investment. It has a two year old planting of alfalfa. How do you calculate the price of standing alfalfa crop?

If it's a good stand you should get around $40/acre or so. It also depends where you're located, though. I had 80 acres of good OG/Alfalfa mix that I rented (hay) for $40/acre last year.
