Buying Advice *Selling my X748 & 45 Loader for a new 1026R...is this dumb?

I love my 2010 X748 with 60D 7-Iron Deck, 45 Loader, 3-Bag MCS, but I've decided to sell it and get a new 1026R. Since switching to the X700 series I haven't been tempted by ANYTHING, but have looked at the new 1-series and, idk, I think they're nice. Am I nuts? Will I regret the change? I have a 3-point hitch and rear PTO, so I'm not gaining much. It's just that every few years I get the itch. Only 60 hours on the meter...I must be crazy.

I don't know man, HFWD is pretty nice. No shifting, it's always there. If you have the SE, your seat is way nicer.

I came from a 425, so the R is quite an improvement. I doubt you'll see the difference I and others have. However, I sincerely believe that you need a 2012 1026R. Good luck in the hunt!

Not crazy, just what happens. The 1026R is really nice, but do you really need it? What MORE do you think your going to do with the R than your 749? Can't beat new equipment, but you might be better off buying something more. Maybe sell the loader and get a 3032e and you'll have a big tractor to do work and a lawn tractor for mowing.

Sure, go ahead and trade. You'll get a better seat, better looking, faster and stronger loader, more lights and a much stronger frame. But the best reason for trading is the drive over auto connect deck.

Or you could spend about the same money on a cab with heater and all the trimmings for your X748.
