I've just taken delivery of a new L5240HSTC with loader and front blower from Barlow. Great dealer and tractor.
Gotta sell my '96 L3600GST. Need some help in deciding what to ask for it. Here are some details:
4WD, Landpride loader, 720 hrs.,looks new (always shedded), mid and rear PTOs, ballasted ag tires, 1 rear hydraulic remote plumbed thru a triple circuit
solenoid operated manifold (lets you control 3 seperate cylinders by flipping solenoid switch), shuttle and glideshift transmission.
Whatever I get for it will build a new shed for the new cab tractor. It's 3" too tall to go in my current building.
Hate to sell the L3600. I'd keep it if I had room (and an understanding wife)

Have you been faithful to the hydraulic oil changes? You should have done two and are almost due for your 3rd one.

The Super UDT fluid is obscenely expensive but a necessary evil as these things are EXTREMELY tempermental if you miss the first change, and increasingly less so as you go along.

That is nothing for hours on that machine and as long as you have been good about maintenance with the key being the Hydraulic fluid change, then the value is going to be very strong. Years mean very little on a well maintained Kubota. I would think that you could build yourself a serious shed with a plasma TV with the money you get. You didn't detail the Land Pride mower at all, but tractor is worth $7-$11k and then attachments send it up for there.

New that tractor was in the low 20s with the LA680 and they just don't lose value.

If you have not been faithful to the fluid changes, or, you can't prove that you were, the value will drop quickly.

The weak points on the L3600 GST are the front hub seals, the site glass seal on the rear site glass, and changing that hydraulic fluid and using Kubota Super UDT fluid. Have all that in place and it's worth more than half of what you paid for it but no less than 40%.

My two cents...

Thanks for your reply. The trans/hyd oil changes have been done and $250 worth of Super UDT+filter are sitting here waiting for me to do the next one. Kinda hard to get motivated to do it with a new tractor sitting here. The hub seals did start leaking and I changed them a couple of years ago. You're right about the price. I spent just over $20 with loading of the tires.
