Select O Speed Adjustment

My father in law just picked up an 881. Only one reverse speed works and 10th does not work. The PTO works on the 1000 setting but not on 550. The PTO clutch cable moves but the PTO clutch drags and does not release the whole way. Any thoughts on how to fix any of this would be appreciated.

get a manual. the proper supplement for that machine. the pto cable shifter adjustment is very, very specific.

same manual shows the servo checks and band adjustment procedure.

And while this list does not specifically address your issue.. it would be good to print out and stick in your manual:
