This may not be the place for this, but I'm up against it and need help. I have an old John Deere 350 bulldozer that we use here on the farm once in a while. The blade hydraulic cylinders need rebuilt. They are leaking bad. The JD dealer can order a rebuild kit for me, but the price is out of this world. Do any of you guys know where a fellow can go and get cylinder rebuild kits for this machine at reasonable prices? I saw a rebuild kit for the tilt cylinder on a site and it was $30.00, but they only had the tilt kit. That's more like it. Thanks in advance. RRM

Just check with a local hydraulic shop, they should be able to source them for you, and probably rebuild them for a reasonable price as well.

KennyD, thanks for the input, but I do have a local hydraulic shop and they said they can't get them through they're normal source. That they would have to order them from JD also, and if that's the case I may as well buy them from JD myself. I was hoping that there was an outfit out there that specialized in these older machines that could maybe get the kits. Thanks again. RRM

Find another shop...JD does not make seals, they only package them from suppliers. While your local shop may not be able to source "kits", they can ID and measure each one and buy them from suppliers like https://www.herculesus.com
