Security
I am concerned about the security of my tractor. I noticed that you can actually purchase tractor keys online so locking the door may be pointless.

1. Is there a way to change the ignition switch to an actual key that has not been used on just about every tractor?
2. Do you tend to use the voltage cutoff switches or similar to disarm??
3. What about security systems made for tractors that have perhaps flashing lights and sirens or similar???
4. How about Cameras like the ones used on front doors that send video and sound to your cell phone?

Better external vision
I have also noticed several videos of cameras mounted on the front and rear for better visibility. On my Kiotirx7320 you cant even see the forks when they are on the ground. I am concerned about tapping into the electrical system when there is a ecm involved. I have been looking at the solar powered cameras with 9" screen that just plugs into the 12 aux plug. Any thoughts??

Don't worry about the 'security' of either of my tractors. When not in use, they are in the barn and the batteries are disconnected via a breakout switch. Besides, they are both insured as is everything else.

Far as a rear view, I've always had a rear facing camera on both my tractors. Beats turning around and getting a sore neck.

Never been **** about theft. No reason to be out here.

At present my tractor is not in a shop (wish I had one, maybe some day :) )
Until that time I worry. Mine is insured but trying to get an insurance company to be there when there is a loss is a challenge in itself.
They sell a service that they fight tooth and nail from ever delivering. If there is a loop hole they will find it.

As its been said " An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure"

I have considered the disconnect switch but have read that the newer tractors with the ecm's can't be without power.
Thanks, For your thoughts

Any good theif will jump around your security devices with enough time.

I have a open shed and leave the key in mine...have for years. I do have a 4k security camera system on the outside of my house.
