Seat bolts 3000 Ford ?

I am changing a seat on the neighbors 3000, What have I gotten myself into?

1 is a 7/16ths bolt, the other is a 3" long stud, then 3/4" 7/16, then 1/2 collar, then a 1/2" fine thread stud.

At least that is what i think it was Once upon a time.

What does the stud do? Do I need it or can i just replace it with a standard bolt?

you've managed to pull out a locator dowell for the draft portion of the 3pt hitch..

position control should work fine...

if possible.. I'd leave it in..

How long should it be?

I imagine things are out of position already, as the old seat was replaced 10-15 years ago, when he bought it.
This one is maimed on both ends and the middle, This one couldn't hold much.

I am not sure i can get the big nut off with out the torch, 7/16 fine and rusty/ corroded threads.
At least its the rear bolt.

if it's gone it's gone.. no biggie.. position control will work fine.
