I have a rubber gasket on the gas tank on a Ryboi trimmer. The fuel lines run in and out of this gasket, but it is cracked around the holes where the fuel lines go in and out.
I've rebuilt the carb and replaced the gas lines, but I think these cracks are letting enough air in the tank to keep it from running.
Not finding the correct replacement part, either.
Anything I can use to seal up these cracks? There's enough oil/gas contamination that I can't think of anything that would stick.
