SCV\'s

Can anyone give me the low down on extra hydraulic control valves available for a L4610? How many can one have Kubota install and where? How much do they cost? I want to get all that I could possibly need right up front.

On the L and M series tractors can have up to three SCV valves installed from the factory. The controls will be on the right fender. These valves are not stackable so if you don’t get all you want at once you have to start over. Here is the hard part, 3 valves are a $1500 option and no, I have know idea why they are so expensive./w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif

For my L48, the $1500 included a lot more stuff then you think. A very high quality 3 spool valve. Tons of hoses and nylon jackets, many 45 deg fittings, 6 sets of very nice couplers made by SafeWay or Parker (same style) one top link hydraulic cylinder and a tilt cylinder. There were also a bunch of miscellaneous parts. Separately, the hydraulic cylinders are going to cost you $ 300 each with the correct ends. On the 4610, I noticed the factory quick couplers come in a cast housing, the end result was a very neat and clean set up. Rat....

Have you had any trouble with your tilt cylinder slowly bleeding down? My L35 has done it since day one, and the dealer tells me it's considered normal by Kubota. Just wondering if they got it fixed on the newer models.

I am not sure what you got on your L48.(love that tractor!/w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif) Did you get 3 SCV’s and Top n Tilt cylinders for $1500? I would think that a great deal but have been quoted almost a $1000 more for that set up. I was referring to the extra remotes without T n’T.
