I have been a long time user of schaeffer(7000) synthetic blend oil/grease products. But lately there prices have risen beyond what seems reasonable $55 bucks per (case)12 quarts of oil.I have been looking at buying Kendall synthetic blend oil GT1 liquid titanuim oil.Price is per 12 quart case is $46.Has anyone had any experience with the kendall oil? Thanks, coobie.

My Grandfather owned and operated a Chrysler Dodge dealership for 50 years. He used nothing but Kendall products in his shop.

Now for synthetic blends. I feel its a waste of money over conventional oils. My EX FIL is a oil distributor and still a close contact. I talk to him atleast once a week. There are no standards for blends and it can be as little or as much synthetic as you want. That said, WalMart always has Ford Synthetic Blend oil for the same price as name brand dyno oil so in that case I use some of it from time to time.

I buy full synthetic oil, Valvoline Syntech and Castorl Edge, in the 5 quart jugs for $20 all day long around here on sale. Just picked up 6 5 quart jugs yesterday with a K&N filter with each for $27. The filter is worth the $7 easy.

Using your math this would put your price at $3.83 for blend oil while I can get full synthetic for $4.00. Well worth the price differential to me.

I didn't even know that they still make Kendall Oil products. My father swore by Kendall Oil, and wouldn't use anything else, but I haven't seen it anywhere in at least 20 years.
Who carries it now?

I manage a distributorship that markets Kendall products - the 15w40 with Liquid Titanium is an outstanding product.

Also sell a lot of the Schaeffer products - again, a very high end product.

Either product will perform very well, you won't go wrong with whichever you choose.

I run a mix in my B2920- full synthetic Delvac 1 for the engine oil, ConocoPhillips Lo-Vis Powertran in the hydraulics, and ConocoPhillips Dynalife HT2 for the grease. OH- and a Schaeffer 137 fuel additive year round!

I believe that Kendal is a ConocoPhillips product, who also bottles the Motorcraft oils. CP is very highly regarded on some oil forums.I had some very impressive wear results with the Motorcraft oils in my Ford, and since then have used Kendal synthetics in my tractor and trucks. Very good products with decent pricing.

You are correct, Sir! COP will soon be known as Phillips66 in the lubricants arena. They have put a great deal of effort in marketing the Kendall line for the last couple of years. Very good product with outstanding performance.

Kendal and ConocoPhillips is not easy to find around here, so occasionally I ran Motorcraft oils in my GMC when I felt like changing from synthetics. My father once caught me doing this and said (and I quote): "You can't put Ford oil in a GM!"

I have tried to get my neighbor to run the Motorcraft Synthetic 5W40 in his Dmax. He is not a Ford hater, his wife has a Lincoln. Reason is I can get the Motorcraft oil $5 cheaper per gallon than Rotella Synthetic or Mobil 1. He just will not do it. His saying to me was "It just not right, kind of like kissing your sister".:laughing::laughing:

I have even given him documents showing its not made by Ford but he just will not allow it. I do what the customer wants so I spend his money and get the Rotella Synthetic.
