I have a CubCadet/Yanmar Sc2400. The manual calls for API CF engine oil. I am finding it impossible to find that oil in 10W30 (or 10W40)weight. The stores that carry CubCadet don't seem to carry that oil. Any help in locating an oil brand with that spec. would be greatly appreciated.

just find a C rated oil that is at LEAST CF or later. Like CI or CJ now.

10w30 and 15w40 and 5w40 are common C rated oil weights.. and recently i have noticed you can even find 10w40 C rated oils.

Try heading down to your local NAPA auto parts store and ask for Rotella 10W30 for diesel engines.

save money and head down to your local walmart and grab diesel oil.....

I would've suggested Walmart but my local store doesn't carry 10W30 rated for diesel engines.

Thanks to all. This my first post with a problem. After talking with a Citgo rep. I purchased Mystik JT-8 at Farm and Fleet. It comes in a two gallon container which is not as convenient as quarts but we all have a cross to bear. Thanks again,

This is what I do and for the same reasons.
