saw mil trailer with removable wheel carriage

I wanted to add wheels to my mill but I wanted to be able to remove them easily so that I could keep the rig low to the ground when in use, I also thought it would be nice to have an axle around that I could us on other stuff ,so I built this carriage which will pin in place.
the rails are 4 inch channel , and the carriage is 2x2 box it will have six trailer jacks I will post more pics as I progress.

Looks like your off to a good start. Why are you making it mobil? My mill was on wheels at one time. I found it was easier to bring the logs to it. If I do have to move my mill I can place it on my big trailer.

When I had my mill I intended to put retractable wheels on trailing arms under it and just hook on the feed cable to raise and lower it. A fellow offered me a whole bunch more that I had in it and it went down road before I got it done.

:cool2: Really great idea on the saw horse idea. the trailer looks like the same set my late father made for moving a house trailer.,But the DOT'S didn't like the set up.but that was to move from one yard across to other side,worked well...Must say nice job even so. :thumbsup:
