Satoh S650G steering box

Well, it appears that I have cracked the steering box at the end of my steering column.
When it gets cold out, the wheel freezes and will not turn. For year I have put a salomander heat to blow on the tractor, then it thaws out and work fine.
I think it must have gotten more and more water in it, and finally cracked.
Long storey short, I need a steering box.
Any one have any thoughts????

There is a steering box being offered on eBay for $400.00. I have no idea how fair that price is.
