Satoh S370D PTO Reverser Maintenance

Doing some thorough maintenance on our satoh beaver. I’m looking in the manual but I can’t find anything to do with the PTO reverser. I can see a small fill plug on top but no drain plug. Is there a separate manual that covers this attachment? If not, would it just take 80w-90 gear oil/capacity?

If this is a sealed case, standard gear oil should be adequate. Gear boxes usually run about 1/3 to half full. Did your tractor come with the reverser?

Yes it did. I believe it was a dealer option so that you could run normal western equipment vs counter clockwise PTO equipment like they had in Japan where it was built.
