Satoh Buck
I have a Satoh Buck 18hp 2wd tractor. I bought it 6 years ago and have had no problems with it. I have ~830 hours on it. I use it primarily for box blade on the unimproved dirt road we call a driveway, discing food plots, light trail building and hauling a firewood trailer. A while back the lever that controls the 3 point got "floppy" and will not hold in place. It will still raise the 3 point when pulled into the up position, but as soo as you let go of the lever, down it goes. Any ideas of the fix for this? Seems like it would be something simple, but I have not been able to identify it.

Thanks for your help.

John

I'm having the same problem with my Beaver III. I have the shop manual, but it doesn't mention how the neutral position of the hydrolics actually works to hold the lever in that spot. I hope someone has information that can help both of us with this problem.
