i recently discovered that my number three cylinder was not firing and it was popping back through the carb. pulled the valve cover off and found that the pushrod for the exhaust is not moving very much compared to the others when i crank it over. i moved the rocker out of the way to make sure the valve wasnt stuck and i can move the valve manually as well. i figure its either the lifter or the cam but not knowing much about these engines im not sure.
