In the had to buy mode just got a 650g red and white one it is missing inards of the carb, price was what the tiers were worth to me anyway got it home yesterday leak down test shows head gasket leaking between 3&4 and into coolant passage on 1
drained oil no antifreeze in the oil. is headgaskets a problem on this motor?
Also the tag on frame by motor says 60.25 ci this worksout to 988cc whiich is what most on this site refer to as a 550 motor. anyone have a gasket set or carb for sale. I might be interested . other wise I have a few of the 1.6 ford motors in barn that were used for different projects. Anyone ever heard of someone swapping engines? thanks for any input
