I haven't seen anything on the Same tractors, years ago I ran a Minitauro 60, this one had a lot of power. What about the newer ones?

SAME is distributed in the US through SAME Deutz Fahr North America or SDFNA. The 7 series are built by SAME for Farmtrac. SAME builds tractors for quite a few manufactures including Massy and Agco also. SDFNA is currently only distributing the Deutz Fahr brand in North America (minus some small exceptions). If you want a SAME you can buy it no problem as long as you don’t mind it painted green.

Like Buck said, the SAME Tractors are coming into the US painted Deutz Green. Attached are two photos of the same (not SAME) model of Tractor, one is painted SAME Red and the other is painted Deutz Green, this particular series (Agrofarm) uses a German built Deutz Diesel Engine.

What size tractor are you looking to buy? I've also attached a couple of photos of the Deutz open station & cab tractors in the 60-80 PTO HP range. The MSRP for the Tractors are right in the range of Mahindra's, Farmtrac etc....

Size wise 60-70 hp with a cab. I have a AC 6080 2wd with no cab now with a loader. The thing about the Same engine was the good fuel eco.

Unless things just changed I can buy SAME Frutteto II and a couple other models from my local Case-IH dealer in SAME orange/red. These are the fruit and vineyard tractors. How much longer my Case-IH dealer sells them is hard to say since they now get to sell the New Holland TN-75FA and TN95FA in red paint.

I looked at buying a used one last summer but it had been beat hard but only had 3200 hours.

The Deutz Agroplus 67 which is 70HP at the engine uses a 3cyl SAME Engine which is extremely fuel efficient.

MSRP on the Agroplus 67 with a cab is around $37,000.

For the money if you are buying a cab tractor the Agrofarm 85 is really a step up in power and size over the 60 or 70hp Agroplus or Agrolux models. Standard 20/20 shuttle with thumb clutch, 3 sets or rear remotes, 4 cylinder water cooled turbocharged Deutz diesel that makes 100% of its torque at 1250 RPM. Front and rear locking differentials, front and rear brakes, optional front PTO with front mounted 3 point hitch.

I run the Agrofarm 85 open station on my ranch and it pulls the guts out of my 100 horsepower Case and at half the RPM.

If you like 2wd's I know there are some of the 2006 Deutz air cooled cab 70 and 80 hp models left.
