Kubota L245DT
Alright , so I got a Char-lyn steering valve mounted on my kubota l245dt . The book says it requires 4 gpm to operate . I'm just now finding this out after I converted my tractor to powersteering . The problem now is I don't have enough flow to operate my loader cause the tractor only puts out 3.6 gpm . So what do I do now . If I install a priority valve I'm not going to have anything left over . I am ready to be done with this lengthy conversion . Please help .....oh , but the powersteering works great now , just no loader

Have you considered an automotive power steering pump driven off the tractor fan belt?

On our Power-Tracs, the steering pump has priority and when steering, we lose the loader.

Try the bone yards and see if you can find a larger pump or maybe a 2 stage one.

I guess I could install a priority valve on it and deal with the loss of the loader when steering , I tried at first just t-ing the supply line , but the only way I could steer was when I would pull the handle down on my loader . So maybe a priority valve would fix me up , what do u guys think
