Salut from Lost River, Quebec

I have a Massey Ferguson 135 (or, MF'er, on bad days) that's a ***** to keep running due to age and a history of neglect. After retrieving it from the bush to it's Lost River incarnation, I brought it to a shop when I found the transmission packed with seeds and organic debris (mouse ****). Today, after winter storage, it ran okay, as it has been with the choke closed, but the steering let go; steering wheel spinning happily while the wheels went their merry way through the yard. The steering machinery is now in parts boxes waiting for a trip to town. Bought its service manual today and to get free shipping added Suzie Vinnick's Me and Mabel album.
