Safety Recall involving the PTO brake

Howdy All
Has anyone else received a notice warning the owner not to operate the PTO until the dealer has solved the potential PTO brake component malfunction ? /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif This safety notice is for D35, D40, D45, DX35, DX40, DX45, DX48, DX55 tractors. The safety notice does not mention the production date. I purchased a DX48 (serial # 10008) last November, 2004. Hmm, I wonder if this will be in effect for the Boomers also ?

Yes the same recall campaign is going on with the Blue models as well.

I had a talk with my Dealer and HE, doesn't know any thing about the recall.I bought my d35 last july04.Every thing seems to work .I have put in 30plus hours with my shredder and finshing mower.pls send more info .I gave HIM the57 1404 , help /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
