S650G Steering gear box

Anybody know if there is gear lub or grease in the gear box? When it's below freezing I can't steer it, like there is water in the box. And how the heck do you get inside? Bill Rogers in?

there should be 80w/90 gear oil i nit. There probably is water in it, if you can't steer it when it is cold. There is no easy way to get all the water out without removing it from the tractor or tearing it apart.
