Well today I had a little time to to look around and I found the serial number on my s650g. On the clutch pedal side of the transmission case, about an inch below where the shift cover bolts on is where I found it.
There was a small rectangular raised area about 1 inch tall and about 5 inches long and this raised area is where I found the model & serial number stamped.
