S-373 how do I ck fluid levels ?

I just bought a little S 373 Mitsubishi and the 3-point doesnt always go up and I am thinking maybe the fluid level can anyone let me know where to ck the level there is no dipstick that I can see and was also wondering if this has the gear oil or what needs to be in it and how much any help would be greatly appreciated

http://www.satohparts.com/images/Parts/S470 Buck/Hydraulic-Filter.gif Satoh Parts try these links. the hydralic oil which moves the 3 point hitch is checked by removing the oil level nut which is located on the gear box or resovour as shown in the link.it would be a bolt about halfway up on the sides.

you remove that bolt and the hydralic fluid should be to that level.if you have enough fluid and you think the filter screen is clogged you have to drain the fluid in a container and wash the filter screen with parts cleaner.

good info, folks. my "shop manual" is not too comprehensive for my purposes. is this reservoir also the one for the hydraulics? if not, any clues as to how to check the levels and fill/drain for those hydraulics?

the fluid you put in the resorvoir will depend on whether you have a fel.(front end loader.)some tractors have a seperate resorvoir for hydralic fluid.while others have one thats for the hydralic and transmission fluid.read the material on the posted site it has most of the answers there.Valley Power
