Has anyone used EVAPO-RUST. The claims seem almost to good to be true? I am thinking about ordering some and I am just looking for some input.

I have been using it for about 2 years now, it works great, although i have only used it for smaller items that can be completely submerged in it, not large items to big to fit in a bucket or tray that has to be covered with product soaked rags & kept wet all night. All grease must be removed first, but it does work great, after an overnight soak, you just have to wash off the black carbon residue with water, the product can be used over & over until thick like mud, it has been a great help in derusting parts on my 1959 Chevy Apache pickup I am restoring, great for everyday tools too. I restored an 80 year old Stanley hand plane to like new condition with this stuff, with no wire wheels or abrasives, I have made custom trays out of wood & plastic trash bags to fit odd / large shaped stuff. My local hardware store sells it in gallon juggs & 5 gallon buckets. Also it will not hurt your skin or clothes & is non toxic for animals.

If I put something called evaporust on my truck the whole truck would disappear.

I actually started a thread on it a while back. Evapo-Rust has worked well for me so far.
