In the past week I have had, what I consider, a big problem with my RK24 H tractor, It was actually dangerous to operate. Pressing the brake, or turning the front wheel sharply to the left or right would make the tractor go forward.I was sure it was a problem with the hydraulic transmission... . Turned out to be a problem with missing/loose frame bolts from the frame to the transmission on the right rear of the tractor. Apparently my tractor, after running about 10 hours with a 4' foot King Kutter Brush Hog ( I have a total of 24 hours on the tractor) created enough vibration to loosen 3 frame bolts and loose 2 more frame bolts on the right rear side of my tractor. I do not attribute this problem to King Kutter; but to the tractor. I felt no vibration during operation of the tractor. I would like to offer this public service announcement to other Rk24 owners; Please check every bolt on your tractor!!!. In addition to the missing and loose frame bolts on the right side of the transmission I have found loose bolts on the left rear of the transmission and in the left front axle. In both cases I have fluid leaks. My local Rural King has taken care of all issue except for the front left axle leak. I am expecting it to be resolved at the 50 hour service interval.
