I got a Seizmik windshield and a soft top with back window. As timsw says, you really need a back window with a windshield if drive on any dirt that can generate dust. Seizmik windshield is hard plastic, but in 40 hours so far it has not really scratched significantly even though I have swatted it may times with branches driving through the woods. The lower piece that seals between the windshield and hood is soft plastic that easily detaches. There is a couple Velcro straps you release so it can fold it up to open the hood. The back window is soft plastic and can be rolled up. There are a couple of straps to hold the back window when it is rolled.
