Loader RPM drop XR4046

While having the tractor parked in neutral with RPMs @2000 on handle throttle and pushing the foot pedal to raise the RPMs the engine seem to drop a couple hundred RPMs. I was lifting and lowering the loader during this time. I only have 7 hours on tractor and only 6 days old I'm starting to think I have a lemon. The range selector is another issue under another post. I have been around tractors all my life but none have been a LS. I was between a DK5010 Kioti and I'm stating to wonder if I should have bought it. Thanks guys

Is your 4046 a gear or HST model?
Also, what range (L,M,H) are you using.

It's the gear and it's doing it while in neutral.

I'm not familiar with the gear models with foot throttle and since no one else has replied yet I'd call your dealer and ask him. I'm sure you didn't get a lemon. It may be a simple adjustment the dealer can do or ECU upgrade. There have been very few complaints on here about LS compared to other brands.

I don't recall how many members here bought gear models. Maybe one will come along with the answer.

I had a similar problem with my xr4046H. It would stop running full speed and just idle. I took a look at the pre-filter on the fuel system and it was completely clogged. I replaced the filter and it has run great every since. It would be worth checking, very easy to get to.

why would you be doing this? if the throttle is not electronic it could just be the linkages moving a little bit and raising loader will change rpm's a little bit. not a lemon yet

I have an XG3037H and about 2 weeks ago while mowing the tractor just idled down to around 1100 RPMs "limp mode". I limped it back to my shop and shut it down. Got on the phone to my dealer to see about bringing it in for them to check it out. That would be about an hour drive. After talking to the tech he asked my to go back and start the tractor and see if the problem still exist. Dam if it didn't start right up and would throttle up. Asked again if I should bring it in and they said no it probably was a glitch in the electronics. I have put about 20 hours on the tractor since then and no issues. Still asked them to make a note of this in my file and followed up with an email to the so I would have a record of this issue.
