ROUND FENDER YM`S?

I`m going to look at Ym in a couple of hours and the pic is bad and owner just barely knows that is a Yanmar, he took it on trade. It looks to have a round fender and can`t see an exhaust stack. He says it is a 2 cylinder diesel. Not much info except it runs good , has rototiller that comes with it ,525 hours..look like new rear tires...for 1500$ I was trying to decide what model it is so I can get the weight for trailer to haul it purposes.
Any help would be appreciated.

little Hard to give you a weight without knowing the model...I'll guess and say it will weight 2500 lbs or less..Welcome to the site:welcome:

Thanks guys....I went ahead and bought it.
Still not sure exactly what it is though. Somebody has done some spray bombing and the label stuff on the fender is not readable.
I did get some pics of the metal tag on frame

also the exhaust is on the left side
seems like most yanmars are on the right
It looks similar to some of the pics I`m finding for Yanmars

How about some photos?

Yanmar stamps the Model & Serial on a ground-flat spot on the side of the transmission by the operator's left ankle.

And the engine model/serial may be on the left side of the engine, low down, back toward the flywheel, or else on a tag on the valve cover for the later ones.

I don't know what a 14 hp left-exhaust model would be. Maybe not a Yanmar but ???

Whatever you have, $1500 with an implement is a very reasonable price.

Could it be a Shibaura ? SD1400A sounds like maybe it could be. A picture would be great! I agree, sound like a great deal!

Shibaura built some models for Ford. I wonder if this has a Ford near-twin.

Thanks for info guys...It is a Shibaura 14
I did a lot of digging and finally found a pic of the exact same tractor on something.
The numbers on plate cross out real close to a Ford 1300.
The one thing I haven`t seen much about is the 2 speed PTO .
Some of the Data for Ford say this model was made 1979-82.....some of the pics of older 1300 is so close to the one I have...sheetmetal is different but what I can see of the HeavyMetal is really close.

If I can ever figure out the terrible Windows 8.1 I`ll post some pics.
