That's certainly different from this part of the country. We didn't quite make it up to 40 degrees today, starting this morning at 27, but at least it was clear, sunny, and only a 5 to 10 mph north breeze. So, just because of the cabin fever, I got out and changed the spark plugs and cleaned the air filters in the Toro ZTR and the Stihl string trimmer so they'll be ready to use in another month or so; maybe less. The manuals on both recommend a new spark plug each season, the Toro is 2.5 years old, the Stihl 2 years, and this is the first time I've pulled a spark plug on either of them. In fact, I didn't know until today just how awkward and difficult it is to get a spark plug wrench on both of them.

It's been at least 3 years since I've seen 12" of snow here in the Poconos. How's your Toro handling it? Looks like it's working well in the pics.

I could only top that by putting a squeegee on the front of my tractor with all the rain lately. Nice the last couple days though.

The 520xi can easily plow up to 12" of dry/powder snow with no problems. That's what most of our lake effect snow is. I start to have problems when the snow becomes wet/heavy. You just have to take smaller amounts of snow with the blade. I've read a lot of your posts about snow plowing, so you know what I'm talking about.
I have a walk behind Ariens 9/26 snow thrower if the snow gets to deep and out of hand. It's new, and I haven't use it yet. I just rather use the 520xi and the front blade if possible. We're suppose to receive more snow throughout this week. Possibly another 12" within the next two days.
