Buying Advice rough start to a new ck2610 purchase

Well, they were quite vague about when, how, etc., it would be fixed. And they also said there was a newly issued service bulletin for the CK2610 that they were waiting on a part to fix (which was associated with the initial hydraulic leak). The latter claim turned out to not be true (there was a service bulletin, but it didn't apply to the CK2610). So, the story from the dealer was changing by the day. And since the dealer is a 3 hour drive away, and I was busy with other things, I rearranged my priorities to work around their poor service.

When the tractor was finally re-delivered, the driver told me they had the tractor fixed in 30 minutes after it was returned. And, he said that the real reason for the delay was that both drivers were on vacation.

Net/net, this dealer is unethical and either doesn't care or is ignorant of the basics of providing quality customer service. -- The good thing is that the tractor is now running fine, we are quite happy with it, and we will never interact with this dealer again.

So I was watching a Youtube review last night on a Kioti. Can't remember but I think it was a CK 4010. Guy had 12 hours on it, and already had a power steering fluid leak under the steering column, and also a trans fluid leak under the tractor, and well as a couple of other more minor issues.

Are fluid leaks sort of common with Kioti? I'm kind of **** about that and I'm shopping tractors again right now and don't want to buy a headache. I need a dependable machine.

The first Kubota I bought, when they delivered it I got right on it as I had a little job I needed to do with it, I got a bucket of stone lifted it up to dump it in the trailer and the fluid came pouring down, I dumped the stone, by the time I got to the garage it had another leak - bottom line, for the several years I owned it, it was a nice machine, it totaled out at three leaks - to me not the machines fault, just a piss poor dealer prep. As to Kioti, I've had one leak, it too has been a great machine, it too had a poor dealer prep.

I've owned my DK 35 nearly 20 years (2300 hours). I've had 1 minor leak in a rear axle seal at around 18 years old and 2100 hours.
Been a very reliable machine
