I've got a Rhino TW-72 rotary cutter ( I still wanna call it a bush hog ) that we've used for years on an old Long 2610 (65 HP I think ?)
I've recently bought a new Yanmar EX 3200 (32 HP) and I'd like to do a little clean up on some property I got.
The EX is sooooooo much easier to drive around (hydro static) that I'd prefer to use it over the Long 2610 (big, doesn't maneuver well)
However, the Rhino web site suggests 40 HP and the minimum for that 72" cutter, and the EX is only 32 HP. Would it be ok to use it just in the short term (I want to replace it with a 48" or 60" soon)
I just wanna get this small stuff beat back down before it gets away from me. Won't be in to any heavy brush. If I do need to do small saplings and stuff I'll hitch 'er up to the big Long tractor.
Thoughts ?
Thanks !
