ROPS ON ZD-21

JUST INSTALLED ROPS ON MY ZD-21. WHEW!!!! WHAT A NIGHTMARE!! DON'T SUGGEST WASTING THE TIME. DEALER WANTED $100 RANGE TO INSTALL, I SAID HECK NO! KILLED 4 EVENINGS IN A ROW AND 3 DRILL BITS! THEN, WENT OUT AND HIT EVERY TREE BRANCH ON THIS 3 ACRE PROPERTY, AND SCRATCHED IT ALL TO HELL, AND CUSSED EVERY TIMER I HAD TO GET OFF AND FLIP IT DOWN TO MOW AROUND MORE TREES OR BUSHES. [censored], WISH I'D NEVER FOOLED WITH ROPS ON THIS ZD!!

Did one too. Hope I don't have to do that again. What kills me is Kubota is only paying the dealer 2 hours to install that nightmare. My time? about 10 hours. Called Kubota to see what I was missing /w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif "Oh yea, were working on that". Meanwhile we eat 8 hours of labor. If you have the newer ZD that is set up for a rops from the factory it's abot a 1 -1.5 hour job. If you have the older ZD and you want to get back at your dealer for something, by all means order the rops kit
and pay the hundred bucks.
