Short version of story, I backed into the spicket that comes off my well and sprung a leak. Dug it up and fixed it, after turning the water back on, I get hardly any water inside the house. I ran a hose off the well spicket for an hour, and ran a hose off the inside water for 5 hours and still have no water into the house.

Anyone have any ideas? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. My wife would like a shower on Easter sunday.

THANK YOU!!!!!

Did you check your pressure switch where the line comes into the house? Most have a manual lever on the side to engage the contacts. I've had the contacts on mine get stuck not allowing the pump to come on. I shut off power and filed the burned / pitted contact points then lubed the moving parts. Eventually I had to replaced the switch itself. Also make sure the circuit breaker is not tripped. I doubt a blockage but anything is possible. Sounds more like the pump isn't getting power which could be the breaker, pressure switch, wiring to the pump or the pump itself.

The title you chose may be the problem.
Our volume kept getting lower and lower. Dug up where line from city connected to house, 1 1/4 galv to 3/4 copper. Cut it loose and there was about 1/2 teacup of small rocks, sand..... cleaned that out and volume (pressure) returned.

Another time I just disconnected the pipe at the joint and used air compressor to "back flush" the line.

What kind of line is it? Is it possible that you did other damage to it when you backed into the spigot? Not knowing exactly how your system is configured, I can make a few quesses. If a hose runs off the repaired spigot, the switch is probably OK and comanding the pump to run. It could be that if it is plastic line, you kinked it when you hit the spigot reducing the available flow. More likley though is that your digging and working on the line, as well as de-pressurizing/re-pressurizing the line has stirred up loose sand and small gravel in the line and caused it to flow on toward your house. I would follow that line and check the very first valve/checkvalve it comes to. It is possible that valve, if like a typical cast seat type valve, it has collected this junk and clogged, just like the valve is closed or nearly so.

For well systems, I prefer ball or gate valves as they do not present as small a choke point for small material. Shortly after moving into my home, I had to replace all the wall shutoff valves to all the sinks and toilets as none of them would close/shut off. They were all clogged with fine sand/gravel. I replaced them all with quarter turn ball valves. I would guess that something similar has happened to you at the main isolation vlave feeding your house.

Good luck.

I am not sure how to answer a lot of your questions, but I got it fixed. After connecting a hose and running water for 5 hours I got it all cleared out and all is well..
