I have come to the conclusion that robin builds their engines to fail! this engine just a little over 3 years old needed a new throttle body at a hefty 430.00$ + shipping installed it and discovered that the wiring going to the plugs that go to the carb and fuel injectors weren't in the best condition new plugs and wiring will be over 300$. At these prices I am pretty close to what a non robin motor would cost, I thought I would be doing myself a favor by going with a fuel injected engine since robin motors with a carb suck in cold weather! that's what I get for thinking! next motor will not be a robin!!!!! The little beast the motor is in is a 422 that is 13 years old not sorry I own this model it has giving very little trouble over the years. PT should dump robin as an engine supplier!

Sorry to hear about the premature failure of the Robin Subaru. One thing is fore sure though, after reading many stories on failures about these Subaru motors, your not alone.
