Hey Mike, nice video! Where there's a will, there's a way. The 55 is a beast, no doubt. I've not had to deal with anything that big yet on our property, but it's nice to know that when that day comes, I'll be able to tackle it. My wife and I very much enjoy your videos. We've gained a lot of insight on how we might want to do things or approach things when it comes to our property. We've got a lot of woods and hills and old logging trails that need to be cleaned/opened up. This is the place we plan to retire and build our retirement home. That's why we purchased the RK55. We wanted a tractor that would handle whatever we threw at it. Nice to see it in action. Thanks again for the efforts you put into producing some really quality videos! (Love your choice of music, too).
I've got a big Oak just like that...about 3 different trunk sections the size of the one in the video.
I'm waiting for my RK-55 to be delivered, but skidding out the Oak will be one of the first jobs I use it for down by RTBee's area. Like RTBee, I appreciate the time you take to produce the videos. I watched most all of them as part of my research that resulted in me ultimately choosing to purchase the RK55 over other well-known brands. I'm hoping to take delivery of my tractor this weekend...RK-willing.

Nice log... Along with lifting one end a bit, the snow does make them skid easier and of course, the logs stay cleaner too....
Boy, those hydro's sure whine when they are puling! You could hear that whine from a long ways away...

In my teenage years I pulled a lot of trees out of the woods with an 8N tractor. Then we got a little JD track crawler with a winch and we pulled a whole lot more. Get that front end off the ground and it pulls pretty easy.

Kind of sobering to think that you are on a 5,500+ lb tractor and you have hold of something that could take off with it, isn't it?
