Does anyone know if the 4000 series rims and tires will fit on a 2210 tractor?

Not exactly sure but...You need to be very careful about changing tire and/or rim sizes on a 4wd machine. if the ratios are not matched properly, you will tear up your drivetrain in a NewYork minute!

If you take the rims and tires from a 4010 and install them on a 2210, then you would have a 23 HP 4010. From what I can tell from the spec sheets, the only major differences are HP and tire size which gives you more ground clearance. I believe you would have to purchase a 4115 to get this combination, although the wheelbase is a little longer and the hyd. pump is a bit heavier. Something to think about!

Hold on! The 2210 and 4110 have the same engine (3TNE74)... What's the point?

The 2210 is primarily a mowing machine, they derive the HP number at a higher rom (23@3000)

The 4110 is a Utility CUT It is listed at a lower rpm: (20@ 2650)

I would guess the bolt pattern is correct but the rear fenders would be wrong (not much room). I would wonder if the gearing would be different (less low end power). The Transaxle is different in the 2210 vs the 4xxx. These thoughts have crossed my mind too, for ground clearence. The 4115 has a longer frame to fit the tires and still using the MMM. Right at this moment I can not remeber if the wheel base is the same on the 4010 and 4110 (I know it is still the same frame as the 2210).

The point I am making is it would be cheaper to buy a 2210 and end up with a 4110 for the price of purchasing wheels and tires. ( after you wear the original set out on the 2210)

There are a few gotchas,

Do the fenders fit the wheels?

Will the mowers fit?

The 2210 has more limited hydraulics, is that a an issue?


I am noit saying it won't work, just that you would want to check tings carefully...
