I have a LA402 loader that is now loose and rattles the right side is still tight. Is it normal wear or can it be fixed it. It seems that there is play in the upper cylinder housing and the boom also is this something that i can fix or normal

I don't know if the wear is normal or not. However it should be fixable with a new pin or some type of shim. I had a Ford 1700 with FEL and bucket - 1982 until 2009. It never became loose as you describe. Hard to tell what caused your situation. Lots of use - lack of grease - perhaps both - ???

Somebody with more knowledge of your situation will, most likely, come along with an answer for you.

BTW - welcome to TBN.

Gonna ask, did you ever grease it? Don't look like it and the little I see is cheap clay based grease that is basically worthless, only saving grace is it's cheap. Don't know if Kubota fulcrum pins can be bushed and if they can that is a job for a competent machine shop with a line boring machine to make the welded in bushing round again and then machine an oversized pin or machine and press fit a new bushing to accommodate the pin if, the OEM pin isn't too worn.
