Rhino SAT8 Brush Hog

I have the opportunity to get a Rhino SAT8 (8 ft) brush hog for $1200. The owner doesn't know how old it is but I do have a picture of the serial number. Does anyone know anything about this model or how I could find out about it online? Rhino has their owners manuals online but I couldn't find that model. They do list the SE8 and the TW96. Thanks.

Thanks, I found that link as well. The owner said it was made in 1998. I have since found references to the Saturn 8 model. I believe that is the same model. Does anyone know how similar this is to the SE8? There does appear to be an oil leak from one of the gearboxes. Also it does not have the front or rear deflectors. I haven't found a local Rhino dealer so I'm wondering how tough it is to get parts or even if a Rhino dealer would have parts since Servis-Rhino doesn't seem to show this model anywhere on their site. Any suggestions?

I've got a 1990 model FL-15 Rhino and never had any problems getting parts. I also have 3 Rhino dealers in my area (NE Texas). I've got the parts book, so it makes it easier to order over the phone and get the right part, then pick it up. If it is like a SE8, then it is the lighter duty version. I would price a new light duty 8 foot shredder and see if it's worth the trouble of a used one, but if it's a good buy and it's not wore out, go for it. As far as deflectors, if you're just shredding pasture, I wouldn't worry about it, or you could attach some baler belt material on the front and rear if you're worried about flying objects.
