A very nice job!!! Well done. How do you get on with welding the ROPS frame in the States? Here in Aus, New Zealand and I beleive in Europe as well, you cannot weld or drill the ROPS structure because it will supposedly weaken the structure in the event of an accident? I'm not sure how exact it all is, but most people will not even think about it down here due to the scare tactics.
But well done to you!!! It looks smart and functional as well as strong enough too!!!

RedRocker, Pictures and your work craftsmanship are just Great... Your design, without a doubt, goes far in improving the looks of the tractor while effectively serving the purpose intended. I have wanted to do this to my tractor and will attempt it when I my welder and etc setup. ( I had fears that Mine would come out looking like Fred Flintstones rig), now I have design to shoot for.

I just can't say enough good about it. Thanks for sharing.

I don't know about this, Mike. It looks like a tractor that's been professionally prepared to work hard in tough conditions, but then the tractor also looks like it's never been allowed to get dusty.:D Sure pretty. And I've probably missed, or forgotten, something, but what's the box with the two toggle switches?

Morning RedRocker.
Nice..very nice job!!!!...all that's missing are limb risers than what tree farmers dream setup indeed.

Bird, I took the switches off and haven't hooked the lights back up yet.
It does get a workout though, 17 acres of Oak with lots of deadfall and brush that's never been tended to.
Trac-Tech, that's the never ending question over here too. There have been some very long threads here with all kinds of opinions, but there isn't a law against it. You could probably have some sticky liability issues if something happened, but I trust my stuff to do the job.
Thanks Gus here are a few more pix.
Thomas, what are limb risers? Is that a bar from the front of the hood up to the top of the cage? Having been slapped a time or two I've thought about that or an expanded metal cover for the sides.

I would only bet your welding/canopy job adds to the rollover protection tying everything together.

I think it will, plus if anything comes crashing down I'll be protected.

Yes...bar on each side of the hood.

Beautiful! Great fittings and welds, I'm getting the materials together that don't already have and build that ROPS --- unless of course you'd care to tractor out here and do it. Beer and steaks of course :)

The trickiest part for me is getting those excellent pipe bends you did. Nice!
