Review on John Deere 4500

This is just a review on my tractor. I have had it for 9 years and it has been great. I have the 460 loader and the 48 backhoe. Wednesday I took off the backhoe and installed the 3 point hitch with a landscape rake on it to smooth out a gravel driveway. Thursday it snowed and I got a plow for the back as well. This tractor has plenty of power and even more in 4wd. It has a power reverser transmission and if I start spinning I put it in 4wd.

I bought my 4300HST about the same time. Didnt find the used 47 hoe for a couple of years however. The summer after I got "Johnny" I fell into a landscaping/trail building job that put 1200 hours on the clock. Pretty well covered what I paid for it. The seat time was justy a bonus.
Now I have about 4800 hours on it, plowing my snow, hauling my firewood, building my own trails. My helper did in the rear axle lock by standing on it while one wheel was spinning and the rear brakes tend to stick on but those are the only major mechanical problems.
