Anyone have any opinions on a reversable edge for a HD 61 FEL bucket. I'm wondering if it's worth getting.

Definitely worth getting. I use it when going in reverse to remove a layer of soil. The angle is such that it cuts into it. When going forward it acts like a blade to move the soil around. It’s a good compromise if you don’t have other attachments to do the same thing.

Yes, Worth It! Why not keep your bucket brand new, and just put the wear on the replacement edge.

It's worth it to me.

Reversible edges will be bolt on. Will your edge be of standard bolt spacing or specific to the bucket?

The width and thickness of the edge may also be a factor. On some buckets [ like mine ] after the edge wore out I replaced with a much heavier weld on edge. It helps stiffen the bucket.

Will you use the bucket enough to wear out an edge?
