Reputable remanufacture dealers

I am looking for a reputable remanufacture dealer. I have done a lot of research and it seems to be the general rule that when purchasing a grey tractor (remanufactured or not) it is best to have a dealer you can trust. I was very close to buying one over e-bay until I read the fine print and learned that most were remanufactured in Vietnam. I would have to ship one from Texas to my home in Missouri and I just can’t take the risk. So If any one knows of any honest reputable dealers, I am seriously looking for a 25-30 hp 4wd Tractor with a FEL. Thanks

I don't know anything about him, but there is a dealer in Oxly MO. He lists on several different sites. His tractors look serviced but not remanufactures. He might be close enough to actually look before you buy.

Neither of these guys is really close enough for you to look, but have excellent reputations. Their tractors are original condition but top quality units. You could try Hoye Tractors in Texas or Little Miami Trading Company in Ohio. I know both of them would answer all your questions and help you pick the right tractor for your uses. They can also supply you with parts and help after the sale. They both frequent the Yanmar forum and are helpful there as well to posters.

It seems to me I e-mailed Little Miami Trading several months ago to ask where the machines were rebuilt and they replied Vietnam. I could have them confused with another dealer, but that what sticks in my mind.

I found so much conflicting info on buying grey market tractors that I decided it just might not be worth the risk.

Don't tell Wayne, the owner, that! He will bust a gut and rightfully so. In fact, he is having a problem with some unscrupulous dealer selling the VN recons and telling the people who buy them that HE is the authorized service dealer for them. No recons there. His reputation is good enough that a lot of people on the Yanmar forum have bought tractors sight unseen from him. Looks to me like he will bend over backwards to make his customers happy.

If you aren't sure, I for one would appreciate it if you would check before even raising the inuendo. I appreciate that you may not understand how significant such an allegation is to us. To many of us in this market such an accusation is considered a primal assault on our integrity. You will find very very little conflicting information among the 8 to 10 or 12 dealers who have been in this market since at least the late 90s (somewhere in '94 for us I think). The conflicting information comes from other sources, many of which are individuals reselling a couple of tractors at a time.

To set the record straight...I did not tell you, or anyone else, that our tractors are rebuilt in viet nam.

You are absolutely right and I apologize! I have been searching and have found the dealer I had you confused with.

I will say you have some very good looking machines on your web site and I am especially impressed that you offer ROPS for the machines you sell.
