Replacing (lower link) stabilizer brackets

Has anyone taken off or replaced the "U" shaped bracket stabilizers that connect to the lower (3-point) link to the stabilizers? I bent one and need to replace it. However, with a BH frame it looks like the lower link won't slide out. Is it possible to loosen the center bolt and slide the lower link enough to one side to slide off the bracket, and then reverse for the other side? Thanks for your help.
